The Founders
Brooke Barry and Cole Klingensmith are married Nashville locals and co-founders of Studio Muse.
Brooke grew up around a camera. Her mom was a photographer who ran her own studios throughout Brooke's childhood, and long before Brooke picked one up herself, she was quietly watching how a room, a little light, and the right moment come together to make a photograph. She came to love being in front of the camera as much as behind it, and that love eventually found its way onto social media, where she's been lucky to share her life with a community that's grown far beyond anything she imagined. Studio Muse is her way of passing that feeling on: a space where anyone can feel at ease in front of the camera, with nobody else in the room.
Cole found his way to photography by a different road. Early in their relationship, he started taking Brooke's photos, and he taught himself the craft one shot at a time. Today, the two of them are building Studio Muse together, out of a shared love of photography and a hope that getting photos of yourself can feel a little easier and a lot more fun. Their favorite part is simple: they get to build it side by side, every day.
